Women Demand

In this web site we took seriously Zoe Fairbairns' conference invitation to think about what we would like to 'demand' for women now, and the site was active from 2002-2005. Demands from the conference, alongside those wishes that were emailed in, are listed, together with lists of organisations, books, and other resources that were generated from those demands.

'Women Demand' offers a choice of two ways to read the demands: text pages and playful pages. The details are identical, only the format is different. The playful pages require IE 5 or above. The text-based pages are useful if you are short of time, have difficulty reading image or java-heavy web pages, or have an old browser.

NB: The Women Demand site is no longer active
